Remember the burning oil rig out in the Gulf we wrote about yesterday? Well, on the special day, CNN is reporting that the rig is leaking oil into the Gulf. The oil rig itself has sunk into the Gulf. Crude oil is leaking from here at 8,000 barrels per day. The Coast Guard is “preparing” for a leak of up to 700,000 gallons of diesel as well. They can’t do anything about it environmentally until the fires are put out and they are still burning.
I guess I’ll go plant something or change a light bulb for a florescent. Jeez. How frustrating.
